We are an affiliated Triathlon Ireland club. The main advantage of this is the insurance cover but obviously there are other benefits. To join the club you need to firstly join triathlon Ireland. Associate membership is only about 18euro, bear in mind that you cannot race on associate membership. A race license is 60euro, day licenses cost 25euro, so basically if you plan to race more than 2 races next year get the 60euro one, if just club training and the odd race, go for the associate at 20euro. Other special rates exist for under 23s, juniors etc.

Once you are signed up to Triathlon Ireland and receive your TI number, you can now complete the membership form. All club members must pay the membership fee of £25 (cheques made payable to TUNA Triathlon Club), bring it on Tuesday or Thursday night and give it to one of the committee. Alternatively you can do a transfer from your bank account online. The TUNA account details are: A/C: 10140449 S/C: 950411, make sure to put your name as the reference and we still need the signed membership form. Membership doesn’t cover the cost of training sessions but it is used to subsidise them and pay for the pool and coaching in advance. Hence the additional cost of sessions to non-members.

Training cost options:

1) One off payment £125

2) Monthly Direct Debit £12.50 per month x 12

3) £4 per session

Non members £5 per session but must join club after 3 sessions

If you are doing the payment online put your name as the reference and send me an e-mail to let me know ( you have done it so I can add your name to the sign-on sheets. This will be done on a monthly basis; payments received will go towards the following calendar month’s training sessions.
